Levant Heights – Single Pot Still Malt & Wheat – Italian Cask Finish

Original price was: 42 $.Current price is: 35 $.

Inspired by the revered Irish single pot still style, Levant Heights embodies a fusion of tradition and innovation. Following our Irish counterparts, we employ triple distillation in copper pot stills. However, what sets our whisky apart is its unique composition—a mash bill of 60% malted barley and 40% Lebanese durum wheat. This double-aged expression begins in lightly toasted and charred American oak barrels before finishing in virgin Italian casks sourced from a quaint family cooperage nestled in southern Italy’s sun-kissed landscapes.

Prepare to be enraptured by tantalizing aromas. Chamomile, gorse, and cut grass mingle with mint and sawdust, while coconut and baking spices dance on a subtle breeze. On the palate, savor notes of caramel, vanilla cake, and crème Brûlée, complemented by fruit tart, pine nuts, white wine, savory almond butter, and dried apricots. Ripe pears linger, promising paradise with each sip.
