In the quiet embrace of the Lebanese village of Khenchara, ATHYR is born. Crafted from sun-dried Lebanese malted barley, this exquisite spirit undergoes a delicate dance of fermentation and distillation in a century-old copper pot still. Its soul finds refuge in the warm embrace of Lebanese oak (Quercus libani), lovingly nurtured in the village, imparting a distinctive and intricate character to the whisky.
Among the celebrated Double Aged Series, we present the “OAK & VINE” This long-awaited revelation begins its journey in clay amphorae, where it rests for 6 years alongside cured Lebanese oak branches, absorbing their rich and complex essence. It then embarks on an additional 3-year voyage in oak barrels that once cradled our finest Cabernet Sauvignon wine. Captured at cask strength, ATHYR awaits the gentle hand that will uncork its secrets.
